Global Mobility Senior Consultant - Hybrid

<p>Our Global Mobility practice primarily works with personal taxation and social security compliance and consultancy services, both for domestic and international cases. In addition, our team assists with queries concerning general and specific expatriates and mobility matters, immigration, compensation and benefits, international labor law.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your background </p> <p>We are interested in candidates with experience in Global Mobility Services, Personal Income Tax or international employment / HR activities, dealing with Expatriate individuals (both inbounds and outbounds) and related services in this area. Our future colleague should be able to easily interact with our Clients and, in some instances, to take a team leading role towards some of our biggest engagements.  </p> <p> </p> <p>Required profile:</p> <ul> <li>Higher education within economy, law or HR</li> <li>At least 3 years of relevant experience in the following areas:</li> </ul> <ol> <li>Expatriate tax compliance: income tax and social security computation in respect of income derived by expatriates in Romania, related social security issues;</li> <li>Personal taxation consultancy: regarding the tax status/ tax treatment of various types of income derived by Romanian nationals in Romania or from abroad;</li> <li>Compensation: salary, benefits, perquisites, bonuses and long-term incentives;</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Good knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft Office);</li> <li>Fluent in English – experience with English as work language; </li> <li>Proactive, team player, pragmatic, with great ability to prioritize tasks;</li> <li><em>nice to have</em>: previous experience with/ knowledge of: payroll and/ or any salary and tax computation software/ tools (e.g. Charisma HCM would be a plus);</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> Your responsibilities </p> <ul> <li>Client support on mobility matters, in accordance with the scope of work;</li> <li>Discuss with the engagement team to understand the client’s business, provide practical implementable solutions, supports and takes ownership for the implementation of these recommendations;</li> <li>Utilize the firm wide methodologies and tools, including computer-based software solutions;</li> <li>Working on all engagements under the supervision of a Senior Consultant / Experienced Consultant;</li> <li>Prepares working papers and other documents in conjunction with serving the client (e.g., proposals, engagement letters, presentations, final reports, personal tax computations);</li> <li>Prepares specific tax returns and several personal income tax calculations/ assessments;</li> <li>Undertakes (in close collaboration with the Senior Consultant or with the Manager) consultancy/ advisory activities within tax, social security and general mobility aspects;</li> <li>Maintains the relationship with the Romanian national authorities (e.g. tax authorities, social security or labor authorities, etc.) and with other relevant institutions (e.g. intermediary bank, etc.);</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What’s in it for you</p> <ul> <li>Free certifications, national &amp; international trainings; </li> <li>Top notch counseling, mentorship; </li> <li>Most globally integrated knowledge system; </li> <li>Extra vacation days when public holidays fall on a weekend; </li> <li>Medical coverage for you and your family; </li> <li>Bookster library at the office and plenty of discounts.</li> </ul>
