Fund Secondaries Operations Associate

Nasdaq Private Fund Solutions is looking for an engaging Fund Operations Associate to join our growing private funds team. This role will be primarily responsible for the setup and support of liquidity events for funds within the private equity ecosystem, along with the day-to-day management of client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have1-3 years of relevant operations experience, focused on fund management, fund administration or similar experience in supporting relationships with alternative asset managers, wirehouses, or institutional investors. This position is located at the Nasdaq headquarters in New York.

- Responsible for providing exceptional client service for Nasdaq Fund Secondaries clients; taking primary responsibility for driving client satisfaction with service delivery
- Provide operational support for fund secondary transactions, including event setup, transaction support and wire settlement; identify areas of improvement within process in an organized and productive manner
- Ensure smooth delivery during liquidity events by maintaining an open line of communication with clients, service providers and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Technology, Legal, Sales, Product, etc.
- Coordinate with the product team and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, risks, impacts and dependencies
- Coordinate production support activities and participate in troubleshooting implementation issues
- Cultivate client insights to help improve the product offering; proactively communicate reoccurring customer service issues
- Demonstrate effective time management skills in order to handle tight deadlines and multiple client demands
- Track and resolve inquiries in a timely manner, including follow-up to ensure final resolution is as expected
Education, Experience Professional accomplishments, and Certifications
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Required Experience: minimum of 1 - 3 years of similar business experience, including client service in the financial industry, with a strong preference for prior experience with private markets and alternative assets classes
- Preferred Experience but not required: Background in private equity (fund management, fund administration, legal services, etc.), with experience in secondaries a plus (e.g., GP-led or LP-led transactions, tender offers, stapled secondaries, LP-portfolio sales, Wealth Management, etc.)

- Capable of organizing and coordinating large groups of stakeholders to complete projects

- Able to analyze processes and workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and collaborate with team members on updating and improving them
- Motivated to tackle new challenges and proactively work with clients and the broader team to achieve the best results
- Possess sense of urgency and the ability to successfully get answers from client when needed to ensure successful completion of a task or project
- Ability to adapt quickly and handle stress in fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional computer skills including but not limited to; Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and the aptitude for learning new systems
- Flexibility to travel as necessary
- Required to obtain applicable Series licenses within 3 months of hire
