Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include maintaining and reporting SAP PM System data, analyzing maintenance data for planning, and developing enterprise-wide best practices for preventative maintenance.

The role involves reviewing PM work orders, optimizing equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency, and applying Universal Maintenance Standards.

The Maintenance Planner uses Key Performance Indicators to provide feedback, plans maintenance tasks based on skill and safety, and collaborates across departments on projects and report development.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Additional training or education beyond high school in maintenance is preferred.

Experience: At least two years of in-house mechanical experience. Formal mechanical skills training received from Tyson maintenance training. Knowledge of parts room procedures and policies.

Previous experience in planning and scheduling maintenance management is advantageous. Two years of experience in industrial maintenance is required.

Computer Skills: Proficiency or ability to become proficient in SAP maintenance and Microsoft Office suite within 90 days.

Special Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, interpersonal communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Ability to work independently is required.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with vendors, contractors, part suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.

Travel: Occasional travel, averaging 1 to 5 trips per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
