As a Director, Field Health Economics and Reimbursement, you’ll lead strategic field engagements that highlight the economic value of surgical innovation and the procedures they enable. You'll empower sales teams and healthcare providers with insights that drive value-based care and elevate the impact on patients across the US.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Establish relationships with sales reps to gain access to key accounts. Identify appropriate targeted customers

  • Establish relationships with field sales team to provide education around broader health economics

  • Partner with sales reps to provide business reviews for hospitals for our technologies

  • Partner with internal team to develop field economic tools and lead GHER specific programming with customers (e.g. surgeons and hospital administrators)

  • Provide complex analysis on data from hospital specific to our technology and utilization

  • Work directly with hospitals to gain access to portfolios

  • Present GHER information on broader programs and other types of EW offerings

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s in life science, health economics, health policy or related field + a minimum of 12 years of experience -OR- Master’s Degree (e.g., MPH, MBA with relevant focus) + a minimum of 10 years of experience

  • Proven experience in health economics and / or outcomes research and reimbursement

  • Proven success in designing and deploying best-in-class reporting, analytics, and tools that enhance performance and decision-making for customer-facing teams.

  • Hands-on experience supporting commercial functions, such as Sales Operations, with a strong understanding of field team dynamics.

  • Demonstrated project management expertise, driving initiatives from planning through execution with measurable impact.

  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, collaborating effectively with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, payers, hospitals, physicians) and internal teams across business units.

  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%, supporting strategic engagements and field-based initiatives.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Deep understanding of the medical device industry, health policy, and economics/reimbursement concepts, with prior experience and knowledge in these areas.

  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, including the ability to extract and clearly communicate insights from complex, large-scale data sets.

  • Skilled in navigating and interpreting large data systems, with an eye for identifying trends and actionable information.

  • Proven project management expertise, with a track record of leading initiatives from planning through execution.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in developing and delivering high-impact presentations.

  • Innovative mindset, with a passion for creating new tools, resources, and solutions that drive strategic value.

  • Strong business acumen, with experience collaborating across internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Government Affairs to address market access challenges.

  • Highly self-motivated and independent and collaborative, thriving in both autonomous and team-oriented environments.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $170,000 to $241,000 (highly experienced).
