PWI R&amp;D Mechanical Design Manager<p></p><p><b>Description -</b></p><p>As Mechanical Design Manager, you will lead the ME R&amp;D team and be responsible for developing our next generation of products. Your core responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li><p>Managing a team of mechanical design engineers, supporting their career development and growth.</p></li><li><p>Driving mechanical design aspects of the hardware platform and product development from concept to release, coordinating with development partners across R&amp;D, Marketing, CA, and Operations.</p></li><li><p>Developing the R&amp;D ME team strategy, resource plan, and priority mapping.</p></li><li><p>Supporting mechanical design needs and smaller projects as needed.</p></li><li><p>Leading and supporting existing or new team technical roadmaps, establishing new technologies and strategies.</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with program managers, CA, Procurement and Supply Chain, and Marketing.</p></li><li><p>Supporting customers before and after ER transfer as necessary.</p></li><li><p>Owning the PWI capital budget, partnering across the organization to establish, track, and implement capital projects.</p></li><li><p>Leading the PWI test bed strategy team, determining long-term in-house press needs.</p></li><li><p>Representing PWI to site planning teams for internal installation planning and execution.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We are seeking candidates with the following skillsets and experience:</p><ul><li><p>Growth Mindset: A passion for learning quickly and driving results.</p></li><li><p>Leadership: Ability to create a performance-driven culture while providing mentorship and guidance to the team.</p></li><li><p>Collaboration: Establishing strong relationships within HP divisions and partner teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.</p></li><li><p>Ownership: Accountability for program success and decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Versatility: Demonstrated leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and technical expertise.</p></li><li><p>Academic Qualifications: BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Design.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership skills.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The pay range for this role is <b>$130,700.00</b> to <b>$205,200.00</b> USD annually with additional<br/>opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United<br/>States of America candidates only).
