Entity and activity description:Finance Business Service Centre: The Future of Finance is Strategic!
Established in Kuala Lumpur in early 2017, the BSC Finance manages financial transactions for Air Liquide entities in the Southeast Asia Pacific region, covering the transactions related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Collections, Treasury as well as General Ledger. Backed by a highly experienced group of finance personnel, the team work on Continuous Improvement Projects that leverage on new and emerging technologies as well as automation to drive operational and cost efficiencies, while progressively increasing expertise to enlarge the scope of activities such as reporting and IFRS 16 implementation.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Manage and supervise the General Accounting and Reporting team to deliver services in accordance with established processes and work procedures and in compliance with company policies, legal and statutory requirements.
Monitor daily operations and review tasks performed by team members and accurate delivery of tasks in accordance with SLA and KPIs
Coordinate month end , quarter end , and year end close activities with local companies, other finance functions to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts
Ensure timely analysis and reconciliation of account balances and follow up of on reconciliation items
Work cross functionally and ensure close coordination with other finance and non finance functions to ensure smooth end to end operations.
Ensure queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Be a 'superuser' within the team, providing expert knowledge and support to team members and colleagues and hands on support when required
Compile data for SLA and KPI Reporting and data analysis
Manage stakeholders expectations ensuring timely and accurate service delivery and issue resolution
Assist and support internal and statutory audits
Perform such other tasks as required by Function Lead
Are you a MATCH?
The successful candidate should have:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SSC finance & accounting environment; prior experience in transition and migration of process is preferred
Good knowledge of accounting principles, local and international accounting standards
Ability to work in a fast pace environment as well as strong customer relationship skill
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and strive to achieve team performance objectives
Possesses leadership and team player qualities, takes initiative and ownership of assigned duties
Conversant in Oracle and Google/Microsoft Office suite preferred, but experience with other ERPs may be considered
Strong written and spoken in English and Korean, as this role will require to manage the Korean speaking stakeholders
