Responsibilities
Reporting to the IT ERP Manager / Chief Technology Officer, this position partners with Payroll Directors and their customers to analyze work process designs, flows, and improvements to leverage the return on technological capabilities. It requires knowledge of Lawson's PR and LP modules with the primary focus being active use of the system, Implementations as well as support and maintenance. The incumbent will serve as technical point-of-contact for an assigned functional area as well as assist subject matter experts by ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Analyst also supports Payroll upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience • Five plus years of Payroll experience required • Ability to travel up to 50% • Strong knowledge of Lawson modules including but not limited to Payroll, Absence Management, ESS, MS, Crystal Report Writing, and Add-ins. • Proven experience on Payroll processing. • Strong understanding of pay practices, pay codes, deductions codes, union dues etc. • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of Kronos or JbDev time clocking system is required. • Knowledge of developing interfaces with third party vendors is a plus • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment with many growth opportunities offered through diverse projects • Ability to work with end-users and trouble shoot issues is required. • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills • Experience in integrating Lawson Payroll modules with other Lawson modules like Finance is required. • Must have experience in data conversion techniques and methodologies Required qualifications: • Experience with Lawson HCM system (or similar system) full cycle implementation, preferably in a healthcare setting • Six (6) plus years of hands on IT systems/Technology experience. Preferred qualifications: • At least Five (5) years of job related experience in a healthcare environment • Bachelor’s degree (or) equivalent experience.
