About the role

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.

Job Title: Executive Assistant, Human Resources

Location: Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Conshohocken, PA

 

Position Overview:

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support three senior Human Resources leaders: the Vice Presidents of Total Rewards, VP Talent Access, and VP Business Partnering. This role is critical in enabling efficient operations across the HR function by managing priorities, facilitating communication, and coordinating key initiatives. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, exceptional discretion, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, interviews, and cross-functional discussions.

·       Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, including leadership offsites, HR events, and town halls.

·       Prepare, proofread, and format documents, reports, and presentations related to HR priorities and initiatives.

·       Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing HR with professionalism and discretion.

·       Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, and detailed itineraries.

·       Process travel and expense reports in Concur, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in compliance with company policy.

·       Assist in the planning and execution of company-wide initiatives such as engagement surveys, performance discussions, and recognition programs.

·       Assist with departmental onboarding as needed

·       Handle confidential HR information and personnel matters with integrity and sensitivity.

·       Partner with HRBPs and HR Centers of Excellence to support seamless execution of projects and communications.

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree and 5 + years’ administration experience supporting HR or senior executives required or HS diploma with 10 years EA experience supporting senior executives.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and virtual collaboration tools.

·       Prior experience with Workday is a plus.

·       Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

·       Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

·       Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

·       Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.

·       Other duties as assigned.

·       Must be available to work 3 days onsite at the Conshohocken, PA office per our Company hybrid work policy.
