About the team:

As part of rapidly expanding the Digital Hub and Supply Chain Engineer Chapter in Warsaw, we are searching for a Lead QA Engineer within the Supply Chain Technology domain.

 

Pandora is embarking on an ambitious path to deliver on our Digital strategy to build an agile end-to-end supply chain delivery. We are embracing a scaled agile structure around product teams with clear focus on outcomes. A strong and passionate Lead QA Engineer is a key component of realizing these ambitions. In this newly created role, you will own and support the introduction of our quality engineering and test management practices within the domain. This is a hands-on technical role, with a high degree of collaboration with numerous cross-functional areas to drive cultural change, lift the quality and raise the maturity levels of the continuous integration and delivery practices.

 

You will help deliver quality CI/CD deployment pipelines, from early requirements to test and behaviour driven development, maintaining high coding standards, together with supporting quality deployments and monitoring of the production health post releases. The main outcomes are focused on enabling our developers and engineers to ship high quality products and features with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery with minimal disruption to the business.

 

You will be a critical part of our engineering chapter, responsible for ensuring quality engineering, reliability, scalability, performance, and robustness of our software products. You will play a critical role in designing and executing comprehensive QA and testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving a culture of quality excellence.

 

This includes defining the scope of QA and testing within each release and being accountable for test case design on both functional and non-functional level. You will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate test environments are setup for the domain and co-responsible for introducing suitable metrics for evaluating QA, test progress and assessing product quality.

What you will be doing

  • Plan and secure execution of all quality gates and test phases; Test driven development, unit testing, SIT, E2E, UAT and end-to-end regression testing.
  • Ensuring visibility and traceability of the QA and testing execution, together with progress towards teams and stakeholders
  • Own defect management; identify trends, document and track defects through their lifecycles
  • Work closely with the product teams to ensure timely resolution of defects
  • Conduct root cause analysis to critical incidents and defects together with implementing preventatives measures
  • Establish a QA and test plan according to the defined scope as per the delivery plan
  • Work in an agile environment and maturing towards DevOps practices
  • Responsible for all QA and test tools, TD development, and configuration management activities
  • Evaluate and implement QA and test automation tools and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for test driven development, shift left testing, test automation and lead the development and maintenance of automated test suites.
  • Collaborate with QA lead and Test lead to integrate test automation into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Coaching the product teams on the importance of quality, testing and lifting the mindset and maturity levels within teams
  • Responsible for the adoption of all DevOps KPIs related to quality and testing

 

What is needed to succeed

  • 7+ years in defining and execution of QA and testing strategies (preferably within the Supply Chain Technology Domain)
  • 7+ years of experience in quality engineering and test management
  • 7+ years of driving high quality excellence and defect management through the end-to-end software development lifecycles
  • 5+ years of experience driving automation ad
