Additive Manufacturing Applications Engineer

Description

GoEngineer is looking for customer-service oriented engineers with SOLIDWORKS and digitial manufacturing experience to join our technical sales team. GoEngineer’s team of application engineers provide pre-sales demonstrations, product training, technical support, and online content to thousands of customers across the US.

Your key contributions in this role will be:

• Supporting 3D printer sales team with technical knowledge, application consulting, and product demonstrations
• Maintaining expert-level understanding of GoEngineer’s line of 3D printing and related solutions
• Researching industry trends and competitive technologies
• Post-sale hardware and software training
• Travel to GoEngineer’s customer and prospect facilities for pre- and post-sale duties

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet everything listed below, very interested candidates should still apply:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related discipline and/or relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience in additive manufacturing / 3D printing
• Intermediate skills in SOLIDWORKS or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Technical sales and/or support
• Video content creation and social media marketing
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort with in-person and online public speaking & presentations
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple customer interactions
• Independent, confident, self-starting mindset
• Friendly, helpful attitude

Position Hours & Location: This position can hybrid (2-3 days in office) or fully in office. Full-time, business hours. Travel is required to other offices and customer sites.
