Your tasks?

• As a team lead (m/f/d) in internal IT with a thematic focus on business applications, you assume disciplinary responsibility for your employees. You are responsible for the functional, content, and financial planning and management of your organizational unit. With your experience in agile organizational methods, you are actively involved in continuously developing them and driving digitization in the cross functions.

• You actively participate in strategy development at unit level and implement strategic requirements in a targeted manner for your team. This will ensure that your team remains fit for the future-through the introduction of modern collaboration models, the promotion of skills and the ability to transform.

• You will also focus on the strategic orientation of the team, the development of the future vision of internal IT with the management team and the implementation of a target structure for your area of responsibility.

• You focus on the design and implementation of a future-oriented Mercedes-Benz Tech innovation IT landscape, thereby safeguarding the digitalization of cross functions (including through the use of GenAI), taking into account the international context of Home of Tech.

• You identify potential for scaling and international collaboration with other IT hubs in Home of Tech and implement them independently.

• You will advance the further development and implementation of the Future Business Application Landscape project and coordinate both the internal and external stakeholder needs and the external service providers in the transformation process.

Your profile?

• You have completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering or a comparable field, and several years of professional experience in IT-specific company roles.

• You already have experience in managing teams, ideally in agile organizational structures, and have a high level of social and disciplinary management skills.

• As a team player, you work in a solution-oriented manner and actively promote collaboration in cross-departmental teams.

• With your technical know-how, your strategic vision and your strong communication skills, you sustainably convince business partners and advance your organizational unit in a future-oriented manner.

• You think and act in an entrepreneurial and result-oriented manner and draw your attention to yourself through an excellent process understanding, strong service orientation and a love of innovation.

• Proficient written and spoken English and German round off your profile.

• This position can also be filled as a double tip in tandem.
