About the opportunity
The Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in Dayforce's daily treasury operations, ensuring accurate cash reporting, supporting short-term borrowing and investing, and assisting with global banking structure management. This role also supports the development and management of treasury systems and processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
What you’ll get to do
• Monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position to cover commitments and optimize short-term borrowing and investments.
• Execute daily cash management activities, including pooling cash from secondary bank accounts as needed.
• Investigate and resolve cash transaction variances and unusual activity.
• Complete daily journal entries and support all month-end processes for cash-related accounts.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to payment processes and banking transactions.
• Review non-repetitive wire transfers for proper documentation and authorization.
• Manage foreign currency balances and support risk mitigation strategies.
• Assist in managing short- and long-term global cash flow requirements, including intercompany settlements and capital contributions.
• Cross-train and provide backup for trust cash desk operations.
• Support internal and external audits, particularly related to SOX controls and treasury reporting.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning, Internal Audit, and other teams on treasury transactions and entity structures.
Skills and experience we value
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, services, and processes.
• 2–5 years of treasury experience with a strong finance or accounting background.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems such as FIS Integrity, Kyriba, or G Treasury.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to drive results and make decisions in a demanding environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
What would make you really stand out
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
• Experience supporting SOX controls and audits related to treasury operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage foreign currency balances and mitigate FX risk.
• Experience supporting global entities’ cash flow management and intercompany transactions.
