JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

This position will perform data analyses, identifying/ implementing solutions, and drive a more efficient process. The individual will assist with a wide variety of data, help develop performance management metrics, and apply appropriate change management tools. He/She will directly interact and assist with all aspects of the Customer Organization including performance management to develop and track KPIs.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct business and data analysis to ensure accuracy, recognize data inconsistencies/irregularities and report issues to senior analysts and/or leadership.
• Analyze operational data and information and provide reports, forecasting/trend analysis and recommendations to appropriate work groups.
• Documents analyses using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve reports, analytical tools, and self-service capabilities in collaboration with other departments to drive efficiency and support operational decision-making.
• Interact with department management and leadership throughout the organization to identify issues that warrant future projects.
• Assist tenure employees with maintaining the SharePoint site for the Customer Organization by ensuring it is current and relevant to all key stakeholders.
• Assist with developing key messaging and/or coordinating meetings.
• Adhere to protocols and requirements for data quality assurance and ensure that all analysis, trends and project work are within corporate requirements and SOX controls/compliancy.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

• GPA 3.0 or above
• Computer skills–- familiar with Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must have good communication skills
• Pursuing a degree focused on data analytics, finance, accounting, economics, or similar at an accredited College or University

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment with minimal physical requirements. As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.  Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
