Description
As a part of Encompass’ commitment to cultivating the next generation of educators, we are excited to offer Early Childhood Education Youth Apprenticeships!
This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity for young adults who are interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced educators, gaining hands-on experience, and developing essential skills to become a successful early childhood educator.
What does a Child Care Teacher at Encompass do?
Encompass Teachers plan and implement a curriculum that is focused on play and children's interests. With the support and direction of our Center Directors, you will receive ongoing employee training, program support, and professional development opportunities. Our Teachers provide the very best in early education and care for our children, showing them how to learn through play and having fun
With our seven child care locations throughout Greater Green Bay, there are always opportunities to grow.
Location, hours and age group subject to change based upon apprentice and center availability.
Part- time positions available between the hours of Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm
- De Pere Center – Lawrence Drive in West De Pere
- The Rosebush Center – University Ave in East Green Bay
- The Cornerstone Center – Broadway in Downtown Green Bay
- Ruth Helf Center – Main Street in West Green Bay
- Bellin Health Center - Webster Ave in East Green Bay
- The Pulaski Center- Nancy Lane in Pulaski
- The Carol and Robert Bush Center- Pine Street in West Green Bay

Requirements
Youth Apprentice requirements:
- One-year program commitment
- 17 years of age
- Meets the Youth Apprenticeship employability and occupational competencies through DWD.
- A desire to provide the very best early education and child care for children
- Youth Apprentices must meet the minimum education requirements required by the State of Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) prior to stepping into a classroom - training will be provided by Encompass
