Job Summary
The VDC Manager II is a developing professional who serves as a key project resource supporting digital coordination, model quality, and multidisciplinary trade alignment across mission-critical construction projects. Acting as the owner’s and/or contractor’s representative for virtual design and construction workflows, this role helps ensure models, coordination processes, and field execution remain aligned with project scope, schedule, constructability, operability, and quality expectations.
The VDC Manager II will support model-based coordination from design through construction and turnover, working closely with project management, design teams, trade partners, field staff, and client stakeholders. This position is responsible for facilitating coordination meetings, managing clash detection workflows, supporting model population efforts, validating model status against field conditions, and helping drive issue resolution later in the construction process through trade engagement and field checks.
The VDC Manager II will receive limited direction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects, tasks, or assignments. Will execute and assist team leadership on projects, tasks, or assignments of complex scope. Will work independently or under limited supervision.
The VDC Manager II will communicate and operate in line with organizational and client goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
