We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship focused on proof-of-concept development for our suite of cloud-based hotel management software. This role is ideal for candidates with previous internship experience who are eager to work independently on innovative projects while receiving guidance from our senior technical team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world applications, leveraging data insights to drive impactful solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and test proof-of-concept solutions for suite of products. 
• Work with technologies such as Node.js and SQL to build and refine prototypes. 
• Conduct independent research and development to explore innovative solutions. 
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership to define project goals and refine technical requirements. 
• Present findings and progress to the technical leadership team. 

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Previous internship experience (1-2 prior internships preferred). 
• Experience with Node.js and familiarity with SQL preferred. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently while taking guidance from senior team members. 
• Interest in AI agents, business intelligence, data analytics, and software development is a plus. 

This position offers a base compensation range of $20.00 to $25.00 an hour. This range represents the potential compensation for this role, with actual pay varying based on factors such as the location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
