Job Title: Pre Operative, Post Operative, and Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pre Operative, Post Operative, and Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. 

Responsibilities:

- Assessing patients' medical histories and current health status to determine their eligibility for surgery

- Preparing patients for surgery by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable

- Administering medications and anesthesia as directed by the anesthesiologist

- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or complications during surgery

- Assisting the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies

- Providing post-operative care, including monitoring patients' recovery, administering medications, and changing dressings

- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and answering any questions they may have

Requirements:

- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-operative, post-operative, and operating room nursing

- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- BLS, PALS and ACLS certification
