Commercial Director - Northern Europe

Join a rapidly growing deep tech company on a mission to radically shift science-led microbiome innovation. We are looking for a Commercial Director to join the Eagle Genomics team on our journey, as we collaborate with some of the world’s most exciting blue-chip companies. Using cutting edge technologies, we’re reinventing microbiome research, enabling data-driven discovery through our e[datascientist] platform, and unlocking meaningful change in the fields of sustainable agriculture, food, personal care and cosmetics.

The Commercial Director will be based in Germany and play an active role in new customer adoption and retention. To succeed in this role, you’ll be a highly collaborative, intellectually curious and consultative individual with strong alignment to our mission.

We would also welcome any interest from individuals based in wider Northern Europe.

You will:

• Focus on driving pipeline creation and new customer adoption within your region, from Discovery to Deployment.
• Engage with Fortune 500 clients at C-Suite and VP level, acting as a collaborative and trusted advisor in their journey - actively aligned with their future plans, seizing opportunities to upsell new features and products.

• Pitch and close multi-year high value deals, managing complex sales cycles effectively with a proactive and high touch approach.
• Build strong relationships with Customer Success, Services, Data Science and Bioeconomy experts to create compelling value propositions aligned to your customers unique needs.
• Influence business strategies and drive product development through effectively communicating customer feedback, requirements and market trends.
• Capitalise on opportunities for growing customer and business value through product positioning and differentiation.
