The opportunity
As a Data Analyst with exceptional soft skills at MainStreet, you'll play a pivotal role in translating data into insights and insights into actions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between data, growth and business strategy. Your ability to convey complex findings in a clear, understandable, and persuasive manner will be instrumental in driving our company's success. What you’ll do

• Data Analysis: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract valuable insights from complex datasets
• Data Visualization: Create visually compelling and easily understandable data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Superset, Power BI, or similar
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment between data analysis and business objectives
• Storytelling: Craft narratives around data insights, making data relatable and actionable for non-technical stakeholders
• Problem Solving: Apply analytical skills to tackle complex business challenges, providing data-driven solutions
• Communication: Communicate findings and recommendations with clarity and precision to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business leaders, fostering a collaborative environment

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
• 6+ years as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on soft skills and effective communication
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Superset, Power BI, or Looker
• Exceptional soft skills, including strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
• Business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the business implications of data findings
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Compensation

• Base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $185,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position
• Robust equity program with significant upside potential
