We’re looking for a leader experienced in project and program management to join our team which focuses on delivery for high priority strategic initiatives across the Customer Channels organization. The ideal candidate is a passionate, motivated leader with proven ability to lead high performing teams, with great attention to detail, organization, and communication skills including exceptional storytelling.  This individual will have a drive for solving cross-functional problems through building relationships and partnering across teams (Operations, Strategy / Analysis, Product HR, Risk, Communications, other job families), creating structure to help teams get to solutions more quickly, and have experience leading projects involving people changes, tech / platform transformations, risk / governance, and various other topics. Interested candidates should be self-led, are team players, and will optimally possess foundational knowledge of various operating processes.

 

Who We Are:

The “Channels Strategic Initiatives (CSI)” delivery team horizontally supports initiatives across Customer Channels within the Card and Customer Services & Strategy (CS&S) organization

Our team is responsible for:

• Portfolio Management (tracking and influencing the strategic priorities of the organization)

• Delivery (project and program management) for the top strategic priorities of the organization

General Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple moderate to large complex programs and provide strategic direction to team members in a matrixed environment, and put structure in place quickly to drive results

• Partner cross-functionally with various stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnerships to effectively drive strategic planning and delivery

• Communicate across all levels to drive results and elevate key decision-points to leadership

• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment and ensure programs and initiatives are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and on time delivery

• Simplify complex problems and drive collaboration on decisions across multiple stakeholders

• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

• Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

• Note: This role will be an individual contributor role but could include the possibility of being a people leader at some point in the future
