Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse Inpatient to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our inpatient setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
• Mentor and support new nurses and nursing students
• Respond promptly and efficiently to patient needs and emergency situations

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment
• Current State Registered Professional Nurse license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of current evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety protocols
• Physical stamina to perform patient care activities and work long shifts
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress situations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in inpatient care preferred
