Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director Maintenance to join our North America Operations team in the Hydration, Desserts and Meals business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies across 10 manufacturing facilities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, aligned with business objectives, to optimize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant efficiency
Collaborate with site maintenance managers, production, quality, and engineering teams to identify and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Provide technical guidance and support to site maintenance teams, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste
Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste
Implement and maintain a robust preventive maintenance program, including scheduling, execution, and tracking of maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
Analyze and resolve complex maintenance-related issues, using data-driven approaches to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Develop and implement training programs to enhance maintenance skills and knowledge across the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
8+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
Proven track record of improving maintenance efficiency, reducing downtime, and increasing overall equipment effectiveness
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing multiple teams and stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles, including preventive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and total productive maintenance
