Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and step in as needed to lead the team, make operational decisions, and uphold standards
- Monitor financial performance by tracking sales, labor, and food costs, assisting with budgets, and implementing cost-control measures
- Manage staff scheduling and coverage to optimize labor, reduce overtime, and ensure consistent service
- Assist with hiring and onboarding to build a skilled, motivated, and high-performing team across all positions
- Resolve guest concerns or escalations professionally and promptly to maintain a positive dining experience, even during peak periods
- Coordinate with Back of House and Front of House teams to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow during busy service
- Support promotions, catering, and special events efficiently while maintaining daily operational standards
- Oversee opening and closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is ready for service and secure after shifts
- 2 years of equivalent leadership experience
- Food Handler Card and TABC Certification required, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Experience supervising FOH and BOH teams, coaching staff, and fostering a positive, productive culture, Experience hiring, onboarding, and mentoring employees to build capable, reliable teams.
- Skilled at handling escalated guest issues, maintaining service standards, and ensuring satisfaction during peak periods.
- Proven ability to manage operations in fast-paced, high-guest-count environments.
- Working knowledge of current company systems, including but not limited to Toast, R365, Tripleseat, Open Table, and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objecting weighing less than or equal to 45 pounds without assistance
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual activity
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping
- Requires manual ability to use, carry, and operate all necessary equipment
