System & Software Quality Assurance engineer - Lidar Detection systems

Mission

Deploy your extensive experience on planning and performing Quality management activities for SYS/SW scope as defined in the organizational Quality strategy.

Close cooperation and performing every day business as an integral part of the project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality in project for SYS/SW Scope:

  - Plan SYS/SW QA activities in collaboration with the SYS & SW Project Management and Project Quality Lead to reach the Quality targets of the project. Monitor the progress of Quality activities.

  - Perform the SYS/SW Milestone Quality Audits (Check Points)

  - Identify Quality deviations and risks in agreement with the project lead. Monitors that SYS/SW project risks are properly assessed and managed. Track issues until closure. Escalate roadblocks to the next level

  - Support & Implement Project Improvement Plans for ensuring the resolution of quality non-conformities as part of the standardization cycle.

• Assess, support and report the conformity with SYS/SW development processes and applicable standards

  - Perform internal project assessments/audits. Support Internal and OEM assessments preparation and execution.

  - Provide support, coaching and training to all SYS/SW project team members on the Quality Assurance process.

  - Evaluate SYS/SW Quality indicators related to SYS/SW development.

  - Report Project SYS/SW Quality status

• Focus on Product Quality: Participate in Design Reviews (DR) / Technical Reviews (TR) as defined in the technical review process.

• Approval of the Customer deliveries

  - Conduct SYS/SW Release Readiness Audits. In case of deviations, ensure deviation management rules are respected.

  - Approve SYS/SW deliveries.

• Ensure application of QRQC rules in SYS/SW scope:

  - Participate in the Project QRQC.

  - Ensure that all SYS/SW issues and risks are reported in the QRQC red box resp single list of issues and risks.

  - Support SYS/SW team for problem solving according to QRQC (PDCA-FTA, LLC).

  - Identify Lessons Learned and Best Practices and share them with the Process Improvement organization as part of the standardization cycle.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor degree of: Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering or Computer Science.

• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of process improvement & Quality auditing concepts. 

• Knowledge of RCA [Root cause analysis methodologies]

• Certified ISTQB is a plus

• Software Quality Assurance & Software Quality Auditing experience is a plus. 

• Software Development / Software Testing experience is a plus.
