What will you be doing?

As a Sr Analyst 2 – Walmart US Platform Team, your role will involve supporting our client insights team with providing actionable, data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, a solid understanding of Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment.  This role involves analyzing and visualizing data to provide actionable insights to various stakeholders, often in a collaboration with a remote and cross-functional team.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborate with team members and contractors, including those working remotely, to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Become the SME of the area of business you are responsible for and upskill team members
• Document data sources, methodologies, and analysis results
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiative, contributing data analysis expertise to support business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, and functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating and delivering presentations
• Demonstrated ability to create effective data visualizations using appropriate tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI - experience with Unify is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
