Job Description

Purpose of the Job and Expected Outcome

This function supervises staff to produce clinical and diagnostic kits and monitors workflow. The Production Supervisor will work with Kit Packing Manager, VP of Project Delivery, and Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory management flow is consistent.

M-F 2:30PM-11PM

Qualifications

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and upload Material Substitution log
• Ensure all inbound Purchase Orders are received in a timely manner
• Perform periodic cycle counts to validate inventory status
• Point of contact for article source escalations
• Ensure proper coverage of Kit Packing Production when management personnel is out of office

Experience and Education Requirements:

• • 2-5 years work experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
• Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
• The ability to life up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
• Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions
