2nd Swing Golf is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will support month-end close, financial reporting, accounts payable, reconciliations, and accounting projects.
The ideal candidate has strong corporate accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, solve problems, and partner cross-functionally to support the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and general ledger review.
- Manage accounts payable processes, vendor reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
- Prepare AP aging, cash requirement, and spend analysis reports.
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis for management.
- Support accounting projects, process improvements, and special initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting questions and support business needs.
- Support annual audits and maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
- Handle confidential financial information and other accounting duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 3-5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience with month-end close and general ledger responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with an ERP system, preferably NetSuite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Golf industry experience and a passion for the game, strongly preferred.

Compensation:
Starting salary range is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on previous experience.
