Job Description
The WPS Experience / Events Lead will be responsible for managing engagement and experience programs in the New York Hudson Yards location to enhance the overall employee experience for a fast- growing technology company. This position will collaborate with stakeholders to identify, plan, and execute events that support company culture, engagement, and wellness. Additionally, the Experience / Events Lead will be responsible for managing and executing internal company events from planning to execution, measuring success using data and metrics. This role will report to the Manager, Workplace Services; must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Hudson Yards; and is considered essential which carries a “required in office” persona requiring on-site presence (5 days/week, 8am-5pm M-F), with on-call capabilities as needed (including management for periodic evening events).
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of engagement and experience events that align with the company's values and objectives (primarily internal with collaboration on certain external events); and company celebrations, employee programs, and other related activities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (including C-suite leadership) to understand their objectives and translate them into clear experiential events with measurable impact; and successfully deliver events that consistently raise the bar and meet our employees’ vision and goals.
- Create events that align to the corporate calendar, specific to the NYC office and employees.
- Create and manage Wellness events that promote employee well-being and mental health.
- Identify areas where C-suite sponsorship will enhance events in the NY office.
- Plan and execute company events, including holiday parties, team-building events, and socials – including registration, attendee communication, pre-event planning (budget, vendor sourcing/negotiation, contracts), on-site logistics, catering, transportation, event set- up/breakdown, and post-event surveys and data reports.
- Liaise, negotiate, and collaborate with key partners to ensure delivery of all event requirements (AV/DT, Travel, Marketing, Workplace Services, Sourcing, and Finance) in a fiscally responsible and ethical way.
- Follow standard processes and project manage the execution of in-person events with an eye on creating efficiencies (i.e., FLOW) and promote ways to help with productivity and connections.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and other partners to ensure high- quality events.
- Monitor and evaluate event success and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders throughout the planning and execution of events.
- Concierge mindset with a goal of creating memorable experiences.
- Always be on the lookout for evolving methods to innovate the attendee experience.
- Partner closely with our Employee Belonging Groups (EBG) to deliver events that celebrate the diversity of our company and model inclusion.
- Ensure the ServiceNow brand is properly reflected and represented at all events.
