Job Description

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Learning Lead for Inside and Outside Sales to join our Talent, Performance, Leadership, Learning & Organizational Effectiveness team. The role will develop and implement comprehensive learning programs for all Lakeshore Sales associations. The position also will partner with Sales leadership to help envision, strategize, create and execute learning and development initiatives to support business objectives. As a subject matter expert, you will be an important conduit between best practices in adult learning and Lakeshore’s overall goals. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of adult learning practices and the ability to apply them to all types of learning modalities. Applicants should have strong data-analysis, insight-gathering and reporting skills in order to measure the success of initiatives. A day in the office looks like this: 

• Designing and executing effective learning content for both training and development in Sales division
• Partnering with Sales leadership to design long-term and short-term visions of curriculum
• Acting as a sounding board and partner for Sales leaders and Human Resources Business Partners
• Creating and revising content/aligned curriculum to meet the needs of adult learners
• Proactively creating learning content that drives behavior change and delivers on business needs
• Applying up-to-date industry knowledge and best practices to learning content
• Employing innovative learning strategies to best match the learner, such as self-paced lessons
• Delivering content with assessment measures that are aligned with determined KPIs
• Regularly gathering feedback and data to apply to existing or future learning opportunities
• Delivering return-on-investment data on a monthly and quarterly basis

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5-7+ years of combined experience in Learning, Talent Management, HRIS and/or PMO-related activities; Business Partnership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred
• Subject-matter expertise in Sales with strong business acumen
• Minimum 3-5 years of Sales experience; Education Sales experience preferrable
• Proven ability to design, deliver and facilitate adult learning with success
• Understanding of and the ability to apply Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to influence change in an established culture
• Ability to streamline and clearly articulate complicated processes through clear communication and easy, practical application
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States to train and develop associates, as well as conduct learning sessions virtually
