About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Associate Director, Mergers & Acquisitions to lead and support our acquisition and investment initiatives. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing M&A opportunities that align with our company’s growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration specifically in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end M&A process, from deal sourcing to transaction execution and integration.
Identify potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence to assess potential deals.
Develop investment theses and present recommendations to senior leadership.
Negotiate deal terms, structure transactions, and manage legal, financial, and operational risks.
Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, operations, and strategy, to ensure successful deal execution.
Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform M&A strategy.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and board discussions.
The experience you have
Mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, or private equity.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Experience leading M&A transactions, including due diligence and deal structuring.
Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and legal aspects of M&A.
Proven ability to develop investment theses and strategic recommendations.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple transactions and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus.
Base Salary:
$157,500 - $187,000
