Software Architect - HUD

cFocus Software seeks a Software Architect to join our program supporting HUD. This position is on-site in Washington, DC. This position requires active Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications:

• Masters of bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
• 3-10+ years of Software Architecture/Enterprise Architecture experience
• HUD experience is desired
• 3-10+ years of experience working with Java, ColdFusion, COBOL, NOMAD, Drupal, PowerBuilder
• 3-10+ years of AWS & Salesforce experience

• Prepare the system release request in HUD's HARTS system and provide the necessary modified software code products.
• Prepare and manage Release Notes to document the fixes and changes included in each system release and support the release deployment process using HUD's standard Configuration Management tool, currently Serena Dimensions
• Provide support for End-of-Life (EOL) and/or End-of Support (EOS) Software Upgrade for Single Family Systems
• Support Installation and Configuration of Lower Environments
• Create and Maintain Test Data
• Maintain GIT Repositories for all Clouds
• Provide Environment Support
• Manage the Merge Process
• Support Releases
• Complete a Code Review of other vendor’s code to avoid conflict
