Description
The Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management, School of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time Instructional Assistant Professor of the Physical Education Activity Program, Academic Professional Track (non-tenure) position with a 5-month academic appointment beginning January 2, 2025. Applicants will be considered for the Instructional Assistant Professor depending on qualifications and expertise in physical education or related field.
Essential Function/Expectation: The successful candidate will be expected to teach 12 credit hours for Spring that consist of a wide range of KINE 199: Physical Activity classes, KINE 223 Intro to Science of Health and Fitness, KINE 120: Science Basic Health and Fitness, KINE 120: Science Basic Health and Fitness, with a specialty in certain activity areas: volleyball, soccer, tennis, pickleball, etc.
Qualifications
Earned Master's in Teaching Physical Education or closely related field. Demonstrated ability in the discipline and show clear promise of teaching excellence and/or experience in related profession/field. Candidate must have an extraordinary record of accomplishment in an applied setting.
