As a Sanitation Technician (temp to perm), you will be responsible for performing general cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas within building. Specific tasks are not guaranteed, therefore, must be flexible in performing assigned duties.

Hiring 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm 

Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour 

Responsibilities:

• Empty, clean all waste receptacles in designated areas as necessary.
• Sweeps, mops and vacuums hallways and office space.
• Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals.
• Empties trash and garbage containers.
• Replenishes supplies. Empty, clean all waste receptacles in designated areas as necessary.
• Cleans offices, common areas, lavatories, halls and any other areas that may require attention.
• Vacuum carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and corridors.
• Properly clean and buff tile floor services as needed.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, files, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, to include doors, doorframes, around light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Damp mop or clean any spillage in office and public areas as required.
• Dust all picture frames, charts, graphs, and similar wall hangings.
• Dust the exterior surfaces of lighting fixtures, including glass and plastic enclosures.
• Keep kitchen in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
• Wipe clean and polish all metal hardware fixtures and other bright work.
• Clean entrance door glass inside and outside.
• Sweep or dust mop floors.
• Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.
• Report required maintenance to Office Manager to place on work order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Knowledge & Skills:

• Janitorial/Custodial experience required 
• Punctuality and reliability
• Honest and exceptional work ethic
• Ability to solve problems independently
• Must be able to speak and write English
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required

Required Experience:

• Custodial Experience: 2 years 

 Schedule:

• 8  hour shift + overtime as needed
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
