Summary:
Performs all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Performs preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Responsibilities:
Performs electrical troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment as necessary
Performs mechanical troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment as necessary
Performs preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems as scheduled or as needed
Performs corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems as required
Communicates effectively to ensure accurate communication and completion of work assignments
Works safely to avoid injuries, accidents, and contamination of products
Maintains proper documentation for work performed
Conducts equipment inspections to identify any adverse trends or potential safety hazards
Reports issues to supervisor and/or other appropriate personnel
Adheres to cGMPs and established FDA regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
4+ years of experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, National Electrical Code (NEC), work order management
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic knowledge of electrical theory and operation
Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
Familiarity with hand tools and basic powered tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent problem-solving skills
