SECURITY OFFICER-2711

Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, performs duties which help to maintain the security of the building, grounds, and all persons therein. Provides patient observations as ordered by a physician.
na Qualifications EDUCATION: Minimum: • High School education required. LICENSE: Minimum: • Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: • NYS Security Guard Registration, which includes completion of 8-hour pre-assignment training. Preferred: • 16-hour Security Guard course, CPI obtained within 90 days of hire. • BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred: • Previous security experience. SKILLS: Minimum: • Must have a good driving history and be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner. • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
