The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care at the David Geffen School of Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine seeks to hire a Recall Director to assist with the training and transition of the incoming Director. The Director works and collaborates closely with our Program Directors, along with the department’s staff and management team within the Center for Prehospital Care. This position is a key leadership role responsible for advancing the Center’s mission in education, research, community service, and financial stewardship.

Founded in 1987, CPC has grown into a nationally recognized Center of Excellence, serving more than 15,000 students annually across 800+ courses. The Center provides essential workforce education for UCLA Health and the David Geffen School of Medicine, while also partnering with hundreds of institutions and community organizations across Southern California.

The Recall Director wil provide tutelage with:

• Providing strategic vision and leadership, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional priorities.
  
• Overseeing a $7.5M self-supporting budget, including contracts, service agreements, and grants.
  
• Ensuring the development, delivery, and quality assurance of accredited educational programs.
  
• Fostering research in prehospital medicine and secure extramural funding to sustain innovation and growth.
  
• Leading and supporting a diverse team of 150+ faculty, staff, and part-time instructors through succession planning, professional development, and inclusive collaboration.
  
• Serving as CPC’s ambassador, building and maintaining strong relationships with more than 100 institutional clients, community partners, and professional organizations.

Salary: $10,708 - $24,841.67 monthly
