In this role, you will provide support to projects, programs, or business unit managers in the administration and management of assigned projects, including analytical/research support. In addition, you will support the Group’s communication strategy.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills, produce quality deliverables, be able to take direction and work independently, and be able to manage your workload to meet project timelines.
A successful candidate will be proactive, can manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, and be able to communicate effectively with a dynamic leadership team across multiple locations. - Lead or support project and work activities in accordance with defined business unit standards and delivered according to established deadlines. This includes developing and updating project/program plans, identifying project/program tasks, tracking project/program milestones, communication plans, and providing status updates to management.
- Apply project management skills to communication strategies and key events to ensure objectives are met on time and within scope.
- Drive enablement and engagement through the Group’s communication strategy by crafting and publishing a bi-weekly newsletter, announcements, and annual report through common communication channels and digital platforms.
- Prepare high quality work products such as procedure documents, announcements, newsletters, annual reports, scripts, organization charts, SharePoint pages, reports with graphics, data tables, etc. in alignment with the Group’s communication strategy.
- Research and develop content, including but not limited to presentations, talking points, and strategic messages, for group leadership using their unique voice while meeting the needs of a diverse audience.
- Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of key business unit or project materials, metrics and/or documentation at the direction of the project or business unit manager.
- Assist business unit or project manager in creating, implementing, managing and documenting key areas, including but not limited to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, organizing and research.
- Help to ensure that project and work activities are completed in accordance with defined business unit standards and delivered according to established deadlines; raise issues and concerns to the management team in a timely manner.
- Proactively communicate with internal and external customers, peers, and management while providing efficient and high-quality customer service.
- Supervise progress of assigned Group or System projects and provides project or business unit status updates to management.
- Coordinate Group-level meetings and events, including design, planning, and managing the logistics, agenda, and script with key partners.
- Perform analytical tasks ranging from simple to complex assignments, including the development and maintenance of analytical tools, summaries of information, and presentations to deliver information to all levels of the organization.
- Participate in and/or lead workgroups to improve business unit processes and procedures.
- Participate in budget related activities including but not limited to, monitoring contracts and expenses, responding to inquiries, providing financial documentation, generating and distributing financial reports, and providing rationale and recommendations.
- Understand, be familiar with, and provide backup support for other administrative and analyst positions within the business unit.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Requires knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge
