Position Summary

 

Quality Assurance and Nestlé Purina Analytical Laboratories department is comprised of talented individuals who possess a genuine love for pets and their families. As a Sample Preparation Technician, you’ll execute the physical preparation and distribution of material samples for our Nestlé Purina Analytical Laboratories. We’ll count on you to apply comminution and reduction techniques to samples, make minor adjustments to working methods, and communicate information that may require interpretation. The Technician Quality works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with a direct impact on results for the job area.

 

  • Ensure a safe work environment and comply with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with sample entry and laboratory teams to collect, process, and deliver samples
  • Initiate sample workflows in the LIMS
  • Prepare labeled test containers for analyses
  • Conduct routine equipment verifications and troubleshooting
  • Assist in purchasing common supplies for the work area
  • Complete all required record-keeping and maintain workspace organization

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of professional work experience

 

Other

  • 1+ years of experience in laboratory related work is preferred  
  • Must be willing to work Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000.00 to $60,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
