With over $50M in funding raised, including our Series B round in early 2024, we’re positioned for exciting new challenges and impactful contributions to the healthcare landscape.</p></div><p><strong>Your impact and responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Transform visiting the eye doctor into an enjoyable and delightful experience for a BILLION people</li> <li>Tackle challenges to provide responsive and engaging customer experiences while ensuring user data is being handled securely and with care</li> <li>Design, implement, and test brand new product features having top-line business impact and performance (delightful customer facing features and internal tools improving productivity)</li> <li>Build tools to deploy, monitor, and manage our applications</li> <li>Conduct code reviews and provide regular feedback to your team</li> <li>Keep up to date with the latest web technologies and infrastructure designs</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS/MS in CS, related technical field, or equivalent industry experience</li> <li>5+ years of object oriented programming experience in a professional environment</li> <li>Experience building secure, production-level, backend infrastructure</li> <li>Experience working with AWS services (e.g. S3, ElasticBeanstalk, EC2)</li> <li>Experience in web technologies such as ES6, React, Node, Redux, jQuery, Webpack, Babel, SCSS</li> <li>Passion for creating great user experiences</li> <li>Ability to work in a cross functional environment (non-engineers such as designers, doctors, and end customers)</li> <li>Self-starter, adaptable, coachable, and excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment</li> <li>Our team is Hybrid in our San Carlos Office</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to haves</strong></p> <ul> <li>Former founder or early engineer at a startup</li> <li>Mobile development experience&
