Position: Director, Business Partnering & Service Delivery

Reports to: Vice President, Business Partnering & Service Delivery

Location: La Crosse or Green Bay, WI

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Business Partnering and Service Delivery to lead our enterprise-wide Community Connect program and serve as a trusted IT business partner to executive leaders across the organization.

In this high-impact role, you will oversee program design, client development, customer support, and training initiatives, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business priorities. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, internal IT, and community partners to deliver seamless, strategic service that supports our mission and enhances patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Community Connect Strategy: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of Community Connect relationships across the enterprise.

  • Executive IT Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic advisor to executives in Finance, Nursing, Quality, and other departments—aligning technology roadmaps with business goals.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, community partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Training Leadership: Oversee training programs for Epic EHR and non-clinical systems; collaborate with clinical and business leaders to assess and meet training needs.

  • Technology Advocacy: Champion the effective use of IT, mentor leaders and staff, and align training and adoption strategies with organizational goals.

  • Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute technology roadmaps that support enterprise financial and operational objectives.

  • Architecture & Innovation: Analyze current systems, identify improvement opportunities, and guide the development of scalable, future-ready solutions.

  • Organizational Strategy and Implementation: Recognizes market trends, judges the impact on their AOR, contributes to responsive strategic plans, develops AOR operational plans, articulates these plans, and ensures they are communicated to gain alignment and commitment of all AOR staff.

  • Fiscal Management: Effectively uses established processes to ensure accountability for effective operations and resource management.

  • Human Resource Management: Effectively uses established processes to: select, align, develop, motivate, manage, and retain a team of highly skilled employees.

  • Excellence in Service and Quality: Achieves seamless delivery of quality patient care, safety, excellence in patient experience, and customer service.  Utilizes Continuous Quality Improvement principles and platform planning in decisions, improvements, and system design. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in healthcare or an information technology field, with many holding advanced degrees desired

  • Experience:

  • Over 7 years of information systems experience required, with significant experience in a highly complex, academic medical center or integrated health care delivery system

  • Deep experience with the Epic EHR application portfolio, end users training and leading Epic teams, including implementation, stabilization and optimization phases

  • Experience with Community Connect and Business partner relationships

  • Comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and challenges in deploying and enabling digital health solutions

  • Sustained track record of executing successful information technology implementation and service delivery in Community Connect locations

  • Ability to articulate a clear vision and strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and inspires engagement

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  •  Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.

  • Experience working in healthcare and an Agile environment preferred.
