Description
The Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenure track clinical faculty positions. Clinical faculty positions will include clinical instruction (teaching), service, research/scholarship, or clinical practice, depending upon the assignment. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, although a year-long appointment can be made. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon funding and performance.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree in Psychology or related field is required. Candidates must be eligible for licensure or be a provisionally licensed psychologist. Demonstrated experience as both a clinician and a teacher are required.
