As an Outbound Coordinator, you will be responsible for engaging current retirement plan participants and retail customers that have expressed an interest in Empower's financial services. You’ll generate interest and schedule qualified appointments that lead to a sale, or that lead to a meeting with a financial consultant or advisor who will review the individual’s goals and investment strategy and offer guidance and advice.
 

What you will do

  • Responsible for making a high volume of outbound calls to individuals who are considered warm leads because they have expressed an interest in Empower's innovative financial services.

  • May utilize pre-defined scripts, based on the needs of the participant, assesses whether a meeting with a financial consultant makes sense for the individual.

  • Help troubleshoot issues that users may have with the financial dashboard and relay to the technical support team.

  • May transfer calls to appropriate departments to assist customer questions on their account.

  • Interact with prospective clients via phone, chat, and email.

  • Properly record interactions within customer relationship management software.

  • Gather contact information, questions and concerns and other screening information for the appointment.

  • Ensure high completion rate for appointments.


What you will bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree is preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to interpret customer needs and match those with a related product or service.

  • Proven abilities to maintain appropriate policies & procedures for regulatory-driven requirements. 

  • Excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work. 

  • FINRA fingerprinting required.


What will set you apart

  • Previous financial experience and/or investment product and services knowledge preferred.

  • Proven investment advisory sales skills including proactive outbound calling efforts preferred.

  • Sales experience a plus.

  • Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and collaborative.

Base Salary Range

$38,500.00 - $49,000.00
