About the role:

As a Product Manager will lead a dedicated team in developing front-end web and mobile applications for the retirement space, working closely with the client and internal teams to ensure project deliverables meet client needs. This role involves managing product owners, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, and implementing modern product management methodologies.

What you will be doing:
  - Manage a team of 6-8 Product Owners (POs), including both full-time employees and contractors
  - Ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team and with external stakeholders
  - Interface closely with one client, ensuring all work aligns with client needs and expectations
  - Participate in client meetings to provide updates and gather requirements
  - Lead the development of front-end web and mobile applications in the retirement space
  - Work closely with development and internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  - Oversee project timelines and delivery, ensuring that roadblocks are identified and removed
  - Collaborate with Project Managers and technical leads to solve problems and ensure smooth delivery
  - Implement and promote modern product management methodologies
  - Infuse strong product management practices into a team transitioning from a waterfall to an Agile approach
  - Work through current product deliverables, ensuring they align with client requirements and timelines
  - Prepare and document requirements, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders
  - Navigate difficult conversations regarding trade-offs, delays, and client expectations

What you will need:

  - Ability to work EST hours, coordinating with teams in India and other time zones
  - 2-5 years of product management experience, preferably in software development for front-end web and mobile applications
  - Experience with modern product management methodologies, including Rally, Jira, and Safe Agile
  - Strong leadership and team management skills
  - Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  - Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups and handle difficult conversations

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $138,600.00 - $232,850.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
