Oversees and manages productivity of area of responsibility by preparing reviewing andor analyzing business reports communicating goals andmanaging staffing scheduling assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals identifying associate customer andorsupplier concerns and determining corrective action to take or make recommendations in order to resolve Manages associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction monitoring performance and providing feedback identifying training anddevelopment needs and providing opportunities for learning and growth teaching supporting and modeling Logistics and company policies andprocedures and participating in the hiring promotion coaching teaching and evaluation of associates leaders and managers Drives the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals for example production quality safety by implementing operationalimprovements monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget monitoring asset utilization and developingdistributing andor maintaining procedures and supporting documentation Builds and leads a team to execute on business area objectives Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills knowledge andwork performance Conducts performance and career development conversations Mentors Maintenance Area Managers and Maintenance Operations Managers Ensures maintenance department daily operations are performed properly by monitoring and driving department performance related to maintainingwarehouse equipment for example material handling equipment pneumatic systems electrical systems air compressors general building repairsand monitoring and ensuring associate compliance with state and federal regulations for example OSHA Hazardous Waste NFPA Storm WaterDOT etc relating to maintenance operations Develops technical expertise in multiple complex equipment systems and technologies Evaluates and implements equipment performancemonitoring improvements for all automated sortation systems within a large Distribution Center Coordinates with senior leaders and Engineering toprovide input into the design ensures successful implementation of modified and new equipment within the Distribution center Leads MaintenanceTechnicians and Maintenance Area Managers trainings as required Reviews maintenance budget estimates ensuring efficient usage of fundsthrough eliminating poorrepetitive purchases Collaborates with Maintenance Area Managers and Maintenance Operations Managers to ensure optimization of capacity and service delivery Coordinates incident response and resolution within the Distribution center Supports and collaborates with other functions at Walmart such asHuman Resources and Inventory ControlQuality Assurance ICQA to achieve objectives Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs developing and communicating businessplans and priorities removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance providing resources identifying performance standards measuringprogress and adjusting performance accordingly developing contingency plans and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning Coordinates completes and oversees jobrelated activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholderssupporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability forand measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promotingcontinuous learning Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition andpromoting a belonging mindset in the workplace Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity byimplementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executingbusiness processes and practices Respect the Individual: Builds highperforming teams embraces differences in people cultures ideas and experiences creates a workplace where associates feel seen supported and connected through a culture of belonging creates opportunities for all associates to thrive and pe
