Description
Summary
This course, OTP 780, includes the continuation of research process implementation used in Occupational Therpy clinical research. It focus on methodology, data collection and analysis as well as teh interpretation of qualitative and quantitative research. This course meets on Thursday, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m in the William S White Building, August 2025 through December 2025.
Responsibilities
- Recruit particpants and complete consent process
- Provide intervention (if applicable)
- Assess particpants and administer appropriate outcome measures
- Collect, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
- Synthesize and communicate study results
- Prepare for sissemination (contined in the next class, Research III)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapy license
- Familiarity with SPSS, UM Flint IRB process, analyzing qualitiative and quantitive data
