The Summer 2024 internship is an 8-10 week program that gives you the opportunity to apply your learnings in real world experiences and network with leaders within the industry. 

What You’ll Do for Us  

A Dairy Research Associate will base in Atlanta Office Campus (The Coca-Cola Head Quarter) and work with teams in Atlanta and Chicago.  It is an opportunity to learn skills which will help you learn and grow.  We're looking for students who understand the fundamentals and principles of science (Dairy/Food) and engineering (Chemical/Process) and who want to solve business problems on a global scale in a large, complex environment. Candidates need to have a passion and aptitude for project management and innovation which helps us visualize the future of the industry.

Your Function & Project Responsibilities

For Product Development

• Support Innovation Pipeline for Global Dairy Platform
• Develop Calculator of Filtrated Milk
• Create Dairy Flavor Library with Preferred Vendors

For Sustainability

• Assist in developing New Business from Farm Waste
• Evaluate New Farm Practices
• Evaluate New Manufacturing Practices

General Daily Duties

• Work in and maintain lab and pilot plant in good condition
• Practice GMP and comply to Food Safety guideline
• Perform daily/weekly routines to maintain equipment in working condition

Qualifications & Requirements 

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural, Manufacturing, or Food Science.
• Ability to support and influence cross functional teams. 
• Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality processes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to refine solutions and manage expectations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, XLS, PPT).

Compensation

$6586 per month
