Position Summary
The Architectural Staff professional will support the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of projects, including K–12 educational facilities, commercial developments, and private building projects. This role offers hands-on experience across all phases of design within a collaborative architecture and engineering environment, with mentorship from senior staff and opportunities for continued professional growth.

Key Responsibilities



Support architectural design and documentation from programming through construction documents


Assist with the development of plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules


Coordinate architectural work with in-house engineering disciplines, including structural, civil, and MEP


Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings


Apply building codes, accessibility requirements, and firm standards to project work


Assist with construction administration tasks, including submittals, RFIs, and site observations


Revise drawings based on redlines and field conditions


Support project teams in meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives



Required Qualifications


High School diploma required.  Associates in Architectural Technology preferred.

2–10 years of professional architectural experience


Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit


Basic understanding of building systems, codes, and construction documentation


Strong organizational skills and attention to detail



Preferred Qualifications



Experience with K–12, commercial, private, or public-sector projects


Exposure to integrated architecture and engineering project teams


Progress toward architectural licensure preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements



Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer


Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


Ability to access various departments and project sites

Compensation
Good Faith Salary Range: $55,000–$85,000 annually. Starting pay within this range will be based on factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
