Job Description:
Job Summary
Assists in Epiq’s treasury area with cash management, collateral management, funding, debt covenants, liquidity analysis and other financial affairs. Assists in managing and executing treasury functions including banking relationships, foreign exchange, cash management, credit facility and securitization. Assists in bank access controls (“bank admin”), developing treasury policies, and bank regulatory requirements. Responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the treasury department. Implement technology to assist in automating data and repetitive cash management functions
Essential Job Responsibilities
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
Cash Management
Daily cash functions including cash positioning, cash reporting, cash forecasting
Performs daily corporate cash management and forecasting activities for global enterprise
Prepare daily cash activity report and operate as primary and/or backup team member
Assist and collaborate with AR cash management team daily/weekly to manage cash management files
Assist and collaborate with AP team for outflows payment schedules
Recommend timings for borrowing if short-term funding is required
Maintain collections and disbursements data to support forecasting
Assist in cash flow forecasting for weekly, monthly, or longer time frames as requested
Assist management with tracking on outstanding debt and related payments (amortization and interest payments, advances, paydowns, renewals)
Manage the Letters of Credit - issuance of new LOCs and annual renewals
Open and close bank accounts as needed by business units (domestic and international)
Maintain a list of Epiq Bank Accounts - active and closed; complete quarterly review
Complete quarterly bank account audit to add/remove employees
Banking Administration
To ensure that Epiq personnel have appropriate access to banking portals
As an Administrator - monitor, manage and set up user access to the bank portals
Maintain and cultivate banking relationships
Assist with the bank requests for KYC compliance
Approve/authorize payments
Responsible for quarterly and annual bank user audits
Be the banking expert on all bank websites
Capital Markets
Assist with day-to-day management of capital market transactions/activity
Must be able read and interpret financing legal documents
Build models to track and forecast liquidity based on capital market transactions
Must be able to assist with hedging strategies and execution
Responsible for day to day borrowing and paydown notifications and analysis
Responsible for equipment purchase/financing with third party lenders related to Capex
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
Experience:
Required: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis
- 3 - 5 years demonstrated knowledge of Treasury/Banking functions
- Ability to build financial models from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to understand existing excel models (formulas, flows, etc)
- Experience is trending analysis
- Expert level Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Excel Macros development and use of tools to change Macros
- Powerpoint skills to assist in presentation development
- Alteryx and PowerBI user/super user status
