The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing Woodward West’s onsite marketing plan in collaboration with teams across Woodward.
As a member of the Woodward West Marketing and Sales Team, reporting directly to the Director of Woodward Camps Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will bring to life the Woodward brand through onsite signage, marketing collateral, athlete and event marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will serve as a critical liaison between the camp's operations team(s) and the global marketing department to ensure that local marketing strategies are seamlessly integrated with global initiatives, enhancing the overall brand presence and customer experience.
This role is a key member of the Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Team. They collaborate with key stakeholders across departments at Woodward PA, as well as Woodward West, and Woodward Global.
Located at Woodward West, this is a year-round opportunity with a performance-based incentive program and a robust benefit package including health, dental, vision, 401K match plan and more. The proposed hourly rate is $25 / hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Unit Marketing:
Lead and facilitate communication between the camp's operations team(s) and the global marketing department.
Ensure that key elements of the Woodward Camps digital marketing strategy (website, CRM) are executed on-time, on-brand, and with accurate information for the Woodward West business unit.
Act as a liaison between global marketing, operations, and location operations teams to ensure that the location-specific marketing channels for Woodward Camps align with the annual strategic plan, adhere to the annual go-to-market strategy, deliver on KPIs, and account for location-specific needs.
As directed by the Camps Digital Marketing Manager and Camps Marketing Director, facilitate and/or own specific executions of the annual go-to-market plan across digital (website, CRM, app) channels.
Proactively identifies, communicates and addresses opportunities to improve and enhance processes, procedures associated with the execution of the annual go-to-market plan.
Develops, creates, executes on-site collateral and signage (Print Marketing, Digital screens) in alignment to current Woodward Brand Guidelines.
Foster collaboration and a sense of camaraderie between teams to enhance the overall camp experience.
Assist with hosting and touring key partnership guests and media around Woodward location as needed.
Seasonal Employee Management:
Annual hiring and management of the West Summer content staff, an incremental 2-4 seasonal employees.
Serve as the primary point of contact for these employees, managing their schedules and workload.
Work with Woodward’s Creative Director to set clear expectations and ensure that all content deliverable timelines and deadlines are met.
Oversee the collection, storage, and delivery of marketing assets to ensure they are properly managed and utilized.
Provide guidance and support to help them align their work with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
Events & Partnerships:
Collaborate with corporate partnerships team, Sports Marketing Director, Marketing Director – Camps, contribute to the annual strategic partnership strategy. Leverage insights from on-site operations teams to identify both net-new and incremental partnership opportunities. Ensure downstream teams (camp operations, marketing channel owners) are informed of partnership obligations and expectations, and proactively providing suggestions and/or creative insights that create value for camps customers, partners and build the Woodward brand.
Manage and coordinate the execution of partnerships deliverables within deadlines.
Organize and coordinate all Woodward branded materials including but not limited to pop up booth kits, backdrops, feather flags, stickers, swag, and all associated marketing collateral to support onsite and offsite Marketing and Sales efforts.
Ensure the onsite operations teams with the necessary information and collateral
