THE JOB:

Join the dynamic warehouse department at MGM Springfield as a Warehouse Attendant, where you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, including receiving and organizing goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient workflow. Your attention to detail and commitment to teamwork will contribute to the success of our operations in a fast-paced environment. THE STARTING RATE: $19.70 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• To efficiently unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jack, ensure proper safety protocols are followed, such as wearing protective gear and conducting equipment checks before use. When inspecting incoming merchandise, meticulously verify the count, specifications, quality, and quantity against purchase orders or delivery documentation. Any discrepancies, such as shortages or damaged goods, should be promptly reported to the receiving supervisor to facilitate timely resolution and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Ability to operate a forklift (standard and automatic)
• Able to use an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and a four wheeled cart
• Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age
